Directions To WCC from Murwillumbah
Keep an eye on your odometer and follow the directions below to get to
WCC from Murwillumbah. The trip from Murwillumbah should take around 45 minutes.
Directions given, assume you can find your way to Murwillumbah.
At Murwillumbah go over the Tweed River bridge into the main town area and continue straight. You will pass Coles Supermarket about 200 meters on your left after Tweed River Bridge. Keep driving straight through the roundabout and up the hill.
You will see a sign marked “Nimbin, Kyogle” pointing to the left. Follow that direction.
After about 12KM you should reach the small village of Uki. Travel through Uki.
Pleses note that mobile phone reception is poor from Uki to our front entrance on Blue Knob Rd..
Travel a further 22KM from Uki and you will reach Mt. Burrell Shop and old Caravan Park on your right.
At Mt. Burrell Caravan Park (closed) there is a petrol pump, small shop, The Sphinx Restaurant (closed) and some caravans and cabins.
Drive a further 3 KM from Mt. Burrell Caravan Park along the main road (Kyogle Rd.) and find the Nimbin sign on your left. Take that left turn. You will now be on Blue Knob Rd but it is NOT sign posted.
Keep traveling along Blue Knob Road after about 2.9 KM from the Kyogle Rd turn off, just before
the crest of a hill, you will see our mail box on the left with the 924 sticker on it. In front of our bus shelter.
About 15 meters before our mail box on your left is the entrance to Websters Creek Community. At this location the mobile phone signal returns to normal. Please call me if you have an issue with the big dog just inside the entrance. The speed limit on the property is 15 KM/H maximum. Please be cautious about wildlife such as Pythons, Wallabies, Turkeys and Dingos along our WCC road.
Directions to WCC from Nimbin
Keep traveling along Blue Knob Road after about 9.5 KM from Nimbin at the crest of a hill you will see our mail box on the right with a 924 sticker on it. That’s in front of our bus shelter.
You will also see a council sign on the right “WEBSTERS CK BRIDGE” .
About 15 meters further on past our mail box on your right is the entrance to Websters Creek Community.
